The Inheritance Book Cover

Robin Hobb posted the UK Cover for the "The Inheritance" on her blog in August. I only just saw it. I'm in love. The the cover artwork was produced by Jackie Morris. I wonder if John Howe will design the cover for the US edition...


The Inheritance is an upcoming Robin Hobb anthology. It will contain both previously published and completely new stories, and stories written under both pen names, Robin Hobb and Megan Lindholm.

There are no official details about the contents yet, but presumably the book might contain The Inheritance and Mother of Fey (for the first time ever in English) and a story called Cat's Meat. (Mentioned in the newsgroup or speculated otherwise among fans.) Jackie Morris who has done the cover art and has read some or all of the manuscript mentioned it has "wonderful Rainwilds stories in and quite a few cats". ~ The Plenty
